Roy Lee Williams Biography

 

Roy Lee Williams has served on the Toombs County Commission for the past 26 years.

He is the first elected black commissioner in Toombs County. He is the first certified black commissioner in Toombs County. He is a dedicated public servant, with the public's well being utmost in mind.

Roy Lee and his wife Rose have five children. They are Rodney, Reginald, Tangelo, Alicia, and an adopted son Robert.

Roy Lee graduated from J.D. Dickerson High School in Vidalia, Swainsboro Tech, and Chesapeake Bay Ministry Seminary.

In addition to his duties as a Toombs County Commissioner from district #1, he also serves as a minister at the Church of God in Christ.

 

Roy Lee Williams is a dedicated public servant with an unequaled amount of public service. He has opened many doors for those that will follow him in the years to come.
