Our Convenience Centers are designed to help Toombs County residents dispose of residential waste.

We are open every day of the week except for days that start with the letter "T"
WE CURRENTLY OFFER THE FOLLOWING MEANS OF DISPOSING OF RESIDENTAL WASTE:
This waste will be disposed of in the compactor. You will need to pull in beside the compactor, located in the center of the facility; our attendant will meet you there. Please do not put cardboard in the compactor.
- Construction and Demolition Waste(C&D)
We have a construction and demolition open top container to dispose of the waste building materials and rubble resulting from remodeling and repair operations on houses and other structures. Such waste include, but are not limited to wood, bricks, concrete, wall board, paper, cardboard, inert waste, and other waste which have a low potential for groundwater contamination. Our attendant will direct you to the location of this container.
COMMERIAL BUILDERS MUST USE THE LANDFILL (See Landfill link for further details)
Our metal open top container is designed for disposal of steel and aluminum metals. This container is also used to dispose of washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, freezers, air conditioners, water heaters, and other household appliances. Our attendant will assist you with instructions for this container.
We can dispose of your used motor oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, hydraulic oil, and cooking oils. Our attendant will direct you to the oil disposal location.
Your Goodwill donations can be made in the Goodwill building located at this facility. Our attendant will direct you to the location.
We currently DO NOT accept the following items:
Automotive Batteries, Tires, Paint, Hazardous Waste, Dead Animals, and Commercial Waste.
No out of county dumping allowed.
